The Client Relationship Banker position is an entry-level role focused on supporting the execution of sales, products, and service initiatives in collaboration with the customer service team. The primary goal of this position is to cultivate relationships with clients to enhance loyalty and drive sales among individual consumer clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage business credit requests under $250K, identify and refer larger lending opportunities, and promote treasury and related small business offerings.
  • Develop referral business through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) initiative.
  • Contribute to strategies aimed at expanding the small business client base and implement targeted sales plans for Book of Business customers.
  • Engage in client services through outbound and inbound calls to establish new relationships and strengthen existing ones by cross-selling relevant products and services while ensuring an exceptional client experience.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Tellers and other branch personnel on products and special programs, recognizing client needs, and making suitable referrals.
  • Identify clients' transaction needs, educate them on all service and digital channels, and utilize available technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities and present product offers and financial solutions.
  • Adhere to Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.
Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred background in banking, retail, or sales.
  • Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies.
  • NMLS registration; compliant with the SAFE Act.
  • Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation:
$54,000 - $75,500.00
