Boeing's Specialized US Infrastructure Operations Organization is seeking a Windows Infrastructure Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to become part of our dedicated team.


This role involves the installation, operation, security, and maintenance of specialized Program Information Technology Infrastructure essential for delivering quality products to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and support a diverse range of fundamental systems and application support tasks.
  • Provide assistance for Windows OS, Unix OS, and Linux OS.
  • Deliver basic network support.
  • Support VMware ESX (Elastic Sky X) environments.
  • Offer operational support for both server and desktop systems.
  • Analyze computing requirements effectively.
  • Document and implement computer applications.
  • Restore basic computing service operations as needed.
  • Ensure the security of information and systems.
  • Provide comprehensive computing support in controlled environments.
  • Safeguard classified and proprietary information.
  • Assist with security audits as assigned.
  • Maintain awareness of various government and corporate security protocols.

This position requires a presence on-site. The selected candidate will be expected to work at the designated location.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent meeting DoD Directive Certification Requirements).
  • 1+ years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10).
  • 1+ years of experience in hardware installation, modification, and testing.
  • 1+ years of experience in software implementation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing Windows Systems.
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting operating system and installation issues.
  • 3+ years of experience with a wide range of basic systems and application support.
  • Experience in maintaining/configuring Active Directory, including applying domain group policies.
  • Experience with scripting for automating deployment and configuration of operating systems.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers using VMware.
  • Experience in evaluating and effectively communicating complex system issues and resolutions.
  • Experience in integrating security solutions (e.g., McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems.

Typical Education/Experience:
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor) and generally 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Senior Level (Level 4)
Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor) and generally 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Summary pay range for Mid-Level:
$82,450 - $111,550

Summary pay range for Senior:
$101,150 - $136,850
