Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist III to join our team at B. Braun Medical Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems, ensuring high availability and performance of our infrastructure. This is a hybrid full-time position, requiring occasional business travel and the ability to work non-standard schedules as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Apply technical expertise to the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Design, develop, and implement technology solutions to meet business needs, collaborating with IT colleagues and business stakeholders.
- Provide product focal point and subject matter technical expertise, creating technical documentation and project tracking.
- Perform system analysis, including requirement definitions, interfacing with business groups, and cost and benefit analysis.
- Review, plan, and implement computer systems, troubleshooting systems and recommending improvements to the computing environment.
- Manage and maintain CommVault backup and recovery solutions, Quantum Storage life-cycle management, and VMware environments.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high availability and performance of IT infrastructure, monitoring system performance and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes, including knowledge of cloud development platforms such as Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 08-10 years of related experience, with a strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.
- Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under general supervision and make decisions independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with IT colleagues and business stakeholders.
