Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at DCC Propane, LLC. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring timely and efficient response to customer service needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve Customer Inquiries and Complaints: Escalate complex issues to senior team members and provide solutions to customers.
  • Process Counter Transactions: Handle customer transactions, including payments and account management.
  • Document and Update Customer Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  • Process Payments and Maintain Customer Accounts: Manage customer accounts and process payments.
  • Assist with Light Collections and Billing Inquiries: Handle customer billing inquiries and assist with collections.
  • Strong Data Entry Skills and Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records and data entry.
  • Work Well in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Provide Resolution to Gas and/or Water Service Needs: Ensure timely and efficient response to customer service needs.
  • Maintain and Manage Parts Inventory: Manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking.
  • Ensure All Paperwork is Complete and Accurately Submitted: Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
  • Take Responsibility for Daily Tasks and Actions: Ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Maintain Professionalism, Integrity, Security, Image, and Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Attend All Safety Meetings, Training, and/or In-Services: Participate in safety training and meetings.
Qualifications
  • Ability to Provide Excellent Customer Service: Build rapport with customers and provide exceptional service.
  • Exercise Solid Organizational and Communication Skills: Manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively.
  • Good Phone Skills and Computer Literacy (MS Office): Utilize computer software and phone skills to communicate with customers.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Effectively Manage Time: Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Dependable with a Stable Work History: Maintain a stable work history and be dependable.
  • Ability to Follow Verbal and Written Directions: Follow instructions and directions.
  • Ability to Maintain Stability Under Pressure and Be Flexible and Willing to Modify Plans and Behavior When Necessary: Adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Effectively Collaborate with Leadership and Employees to Establish Goals and Standards: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals.

Experience/Education
  • High School Diploma/GED: Required.
  • Minimum of 3 Years of Experience in an Office Environment: Preferred.
  • Customer Service or Inside Sales Experience: Preferred.
