Job Summary

The **Migrant Education Program Manager** is responsible for designing and implementing district-wide programs and services to enhance academic achievement and success for Migrant Education students. This includes developing and facilitating training and support to Migrant Education Success Coaches, coordinating school-based programs, and working with district departments, schools, and community partners to address program needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs and services to improve attendance, grades, and graduation rates of Migrant Education students.
  • Coordinate Migrant Education school-based programs, including Family Engagement Workshops, Preschool Activities, and Literacy Nights.
  • Work with district departments, schools, and community partners to address program needs and maximize opportunities for students and families.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of services and determine effectiveness of programming through surveys, feedback, and data analysis.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the Migrant Education Program, including grant writing and reporting, Comprehensive Needs Assessment, and Service Delivery Plan.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, human services, project management, or related field.
  • Project management or program coordination experience.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated use of technology systems for organization and maintaining accurate records.
Work Environment

The **Migrant Education Program Manager** will work in a professional environment with a wide variety of individuals having differing functions, personalities, and abilities. The employee may be regularly exposed to a video display and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
