Child Care Coordinator

**About the Job**
We are seeking an experienced Child Care Coordinator to join our team at the Air Education and Training Command. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of our child care center, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in managing staff, planning programs, and communicating with parents. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement strategies that promote the health, safety, and well-being of children in our care.
In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day activities of our child care center, including scheduling staff, planning educational programs, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for communicating with parents, responding to their concerns, and working collaboratively with them to ensure the best possible outcomes for their children.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the daily activities of our child care center, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
- Develop and implement educational programs that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
- Manage staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, progress reports, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with parents, responding to their concerns and working collaboratively with them to ensure the best possible outcomes for their children.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in managing staff and planning programs in a child care setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Estimated Salary:** $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
