Position Overview

This Therapeutic Child Development Professional role is a unique opportunity to provide essential support services for children in a hospital setting. As a key member of the Child Life Program, you will contribute to creating a therapeutic environment that addresses the psychosocial and developmental needs of young patients.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering daily therapeutic interventions, supervising volunteers and students assisting the Child Life Program, and ensuring the highest level of care for hospitalized children.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Child Life, Psychology, or Special Education, is required. You must also possess at least two years of full-time experience working in a child life program and hold a Certified Child Life Specialist certification.

Educational Background

The ideal candidate will have completed a Child Life internship from an accredited Child Life Program. A strong understanding of child development principles and experience in creating engaging therapeutic activities are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $65,000-$75,000, depending on location and qualifications.
