Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Survivability Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge technology to reduce the detectability of aircraft in various spectrums.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate stealth technology into aircraft systems
  • Predict and verify the performance of designs using proprietary analysis codes
  • Optimize designs for stealth while meeting requirements of other engineering disciplines
  • Take responsibility for achieving customer goals and balancing designs in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations and diverse assignments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military engineering experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of related professional/military engineering experience
  • Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance
  • Special Access Program (SAP)/Program Access Request (PAR) clearance
  • Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes or similar codes
  • Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills
  • Knowledge of Applied Electromagnetics / Aircraft Survivability and Electromagnetic Energy transmission through space and within materials
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using the latest classified cutting-edge technology to reduce the detectability of aircraft
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) modeling and testing of complex classified targets
  • Working knowledge of the requirements of other supporting engineering disciplines
  • Master's degree in physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Current active U.S. Government in-scope DoD Top Secret security clearance
