Job Title: Principal / Sr. Principal Survivability Engineer (Level 3 or 4)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal / Sr. Principal Survivability Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced stealth technology systems to reduce the detectability of aircraft in various spectrums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate stealth technology systems to reduce radar cross-section and infrared signatures
  • Develop and implement radio frequency modeling and testing of complex classified targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize stealth goals and balance design requirements
  • Use proprietary analysis codes to predict and verify design performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military engineering experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of related professional/military engineering experience
  • Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance
  • Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes or similar computational electromagnetic analysis codes
  • Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using the latest classified cutting-edge technology to reduce the detectability of aircraft in various spectrums
  • Experience with radio frequency modeling and testing of complex classified targets
  • Comprehensive understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission through space and within materials
  • Ability to post-process complex electromagnetic data to identify and exploit trends

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $104,600 - $157,000
