Job Title: Senior Principal Survivability Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Survivability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Survivability Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to reduce the detectability of aircraft in various spectrums.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced stealth technologies to reduce radar cross-section and infrared signatures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate survivability systems into aircraft
  • Conduct analysis and testing to optimize stealth performance and ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the development of new technologies and processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 8 years of related experience, or Master's degree and 6 years of experience, or Ph.D. and 0 years of experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission and materials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
