Job Title: Counselor - Mental Health and Substance Use Recovery

We are seeking a skilled Counselor to provide supportive person-centered counseling services to individuals in an outpatient therapeutic setting. As a Counselor at Brandywine Counseling, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver quality and competent care to all clients, including individual, family, and group counseling.
  • Complete all scheduled intakes & assessments and make appropriate recommendations for either education or outpatient treatment.
  • Create a treatment plan based on the client's assessment.
  • Document all clinical services and interventions performed within the clients' electronic record.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Facilitate groups using identified curriculum.
  • Confer with the Clinical Supervisor on a daily basis for case management.
  • Ensure that the DUI tracking system is updated within the identified timeline with client status.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Associate Degree with CADC or Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field, no CADC.
  • 1 year experience in the Substance Abuse Field and/or Mental Health.
