Full Time Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full Time Counselor to join our team at Providence Service. As an Intensive Case Manager, you will provide critical services to outpatient psychiatric clients, working closely with the Community Care Center and home health team to identify and support vulnerable community members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide short-term intensive care coordination with partner agencies, housing resources, and healthcare providers
- Offer continued mental health stabilization, assisting clients in achieving success in their community
- Work with clients for an extended period after transfer to adult case management services
- Conduct clinical assessments, brief psychotherapy, crisis intervention, referral, care coordination, and transition
- Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or equivalent
- Washington Marriage and Family Therapist Temporary License or Washington Mental Health Counselor License
- 2 years of acute care or community-based mental health work
- Knowledge of homeless services and/or substance use
