We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical screenings and assessments to identify patients at risk for unhealthy substance use.
- Utilize evidence-based tools and assessments to screen for substance use disorders and identify appropriate levels of care.
- Develop and deliver educational programs and workshops to promote awareness and understanding of substance use disorders.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients and their families.
- Work closely with payor sources to facilitate pre-authorization of admission and treatment.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Master's degree in a related field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
- Two years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders.
- Current licensure or certification as a Substance Use Disorder Professional, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist, RN, LPN, or ARNP.
- Proof of completion of agency-approved SBIRT training.
- Current Washington State Driver's License or evidence of equivalent mobility.
