The Route Sales Representative is a key position at Frito-Lay, responsible for delivering, selling, and merchandising our extensive product line to local stores. As a member of our team, you will drive a Frito-Lay truck to various stores, work independently to unload orders, merchandise products, and partner with store managers to increase sales.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and Sell Products: Drive a Frito-Lay truck to different stores, unload orders, and merchandise products to meet customer needs.
- Build Relationships: Partner with store managers to increase sales, understand customer needs, and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Manage Orders and Records: Accurately manage orders, maintain records, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Run Routes and Meet Customers: Run routes for team members, experience different stores, and meet new customers to build relationships and increase sales.
- Comprehensive Training: Receive four to six weeks of dedicated driving and selling training with our experienced team members.
- Opportunities for Growth: Grow sales on the route by building relationships, selling in displays, and completing national initiatives.
- Benefits Package: Enjoy a competitive benefits package, including paid time off, health care benefits, and retirement savings benefits.
- Age and Driver's License: Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
- Physical Demands: Be able to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- DOT Physical and Certification: Pass a Department of Transportation physical and certification.
