Technical Sales Representative

Abrasives play a crucial role in various industries, including automotive, aerospace, and construction. As a Sales Representative at Saint-Gobain, you will be responsible for selling a range of products through various market channels. Upon completion of our 20-week Sales Training Program, you will become the primary resource for customers and distributors.

Sales trainees will learn to apply their product knowledge to solve customer problems and develop their selling skills to establish and grow accounts. Saint-Gobain provides its Sales Representatives with the resources of the world leader in abrasives, an excellent compensation package, and a territory with potential.

The Sales Training Program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and gain experience in a wide range of businesses. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell a variety of products through various market channels
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and distributors
  • Apply product knowledge to solve customer problems
  • Establish and grow accounts

Requirements:

  • BS in an Engineering discipline or in Business/Marketing or commensurate experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and a desire to work in a variety of challenging manufacturing environments
  • Strong work ethic, self-discipline, self-motivation, good social skills, and enthusiasm
