**Job Summary**

As a Sales Development Representative at Kimball Midwest, you will embark on a two-year training program to hone your sales skills, product knowledge, and business acumen. This comprehensive program will equip you with the expertise needed to excel as a sales representative.

**Compensation & Benefits**

**Responsibilities**

**Relationship Management:**

  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity
  • Treat customers and associates with respect, upholding our core values

**Cold Calling & Prospecting:**

  • Effectively cold call on potential customers in the territory to grow a book of business
  • Foster a growth mindset, continuously seeking new business opportunities

**Planning & Priority Setting:**

  • Efficiently plan week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth
  • Implement a bottom-up approach to planning, focusing on growth from the ground up

**Product Knowledge:**

  • Demonstrate our products to potential customers, showcasing their value and quality
  • Invest 80% of our spend in American-made products, emphasizing our commitment to quality

**Achieve Sales Goals:**

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas by following our company's proven sales programs and processes
  • Strive to double our sales as a company every five years, driving growth and success

**Reporting:**

  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities by inputting information into our systems
  • Support customers by reporting back to them on cost-savings opportunities and exceptional service
