- Manage Communication Flow: Coordinate communication between borrowers, lenders, and clients, as well as the assigned asset manager, as necessary.
- Manage Monthly Payments: Oversee the monthly payment process, including invoicing, billing statements, and waterfalls.
- Review Payoff Demands: Verify the accuracy of payoff demands.
- Manage Property Taxes and Insurance: Work with internal departments to manage property taxes and insurance coverage, including shortages, advances, and forced placements.
- Prepare Reporting Requirements: Ensure all reporting requirements are met, including investor remittance reporting, maturities, delinquencies, escrow, and taxes.
- Analyze Legal Documents: Interpret complex legal documents associated with loan administration, including mezzanine loans, multiple facilities, and participants.
- Develop Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures, monitor their effectiveness, and make changes as needed.
- Represent SitusAMC: Communicate with internal and external parties to resolve non-compliant issues.
- Evaluate Resources: Periodically assess resources to ensure goals and deadlines are achievable.
- Perform Quality Control: Conduct quality control on completed products and communicate results to team members.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with changes in industry standards.
- Develop Client Relationships: Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on portfolio performance and investment strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in real estate, finance, accounting, business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of industry experience, typically with 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role or external equivalent.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in commercial real estate, cash management, loan servicing, and escrow management.
- Software Skills: A high comfort level with the use of various industry-related software systems.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop team members.
- Attention to Detail: A strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professionalism: A high degree of professionalism, with the ability to work as a team player.
