About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Product to lead the refinement and enhancement of our payment product roadmap. The ideal candidate will showcase a customer-centric approach, adeptly aligning product development with customer needs while concurrently developing and executing a comprehensive strategic roadmap.

Primary Objectives
  • Evaluate and enhance the existing product roadmap with a strategic focus.
  • Ensure alignment with customer expectations and industry trends.
  • Contribute to the company's strategic growth, highlighting the mission-driven aspect of serving schools and students.
  • Have a proactive and self-motivated mindset, with a 'can-do' attitude; able to roll up sleeves and prioritize key deadlines.
  • Data driven product management and ownership of product KPIs and OKRs across the entire customer engagement journey.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee our Payments products used by school district administrators, parents, and students.
  • Lead a team of Product Managers to help drive execution upon your vision and strategy.
  • Work with senior leadership, and cross-functional team members, to develop and execute on the company's payment strategy.
  • Build trust and influence across teams, stakeholders, and the global organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to payments.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, ensuring our products continue to serve and exceed market expectations.
Requirements
  • 10 years' experience in payments, SaaS-based and mobile applications.
  • Proven experience in product management with a focus on payments and strategic roadmap development.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership and mentorship.
  • Familiarity with the education sector and mission-driven initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
