Work Schedule: Evenings, Tuesday to Saturday.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage: $25
  • Reimbursement for Continuing Education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive punctually and be prepared to start your shift in full uniform.
  • Bring essential tools, including a Sharpie, pen, notepad, non-slip kitchen footwear, black pants, and a knife roll containing necessary culinary instruments.
  • Prepare menu items according to established recipes and portion standards, ensuring high presentation and quality.
  • Set up your workstation with required supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and communicate with management for replenishment.
  • Receive deliveries and verify that products meet company standards.
  • Develop knowledge of suppliers and contribute to nightly ordering processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Sanitize and clean kitchen areas, storage spaces, and refrigeration units.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational needs.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the restaurant's menu, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and keep pace in a high-demand kitchen environment.
  • Be open to learning new skills and recipes.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and storage.
  • Work safely at all times, ensuring personal and team safety, and report any concerns to management.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, as well as additional cleaning tasks as required.
  • Be flexible and willing to assist in various tasks across the organization.
  • Actively participate in improving kitchen operations and engage in daily team discussions.
  • Ensure a safe working environment that complies with food safety regulations.
  • Represent the organization positively and inspire colleagues and customers.
  • Work collaboratively with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Serve as a role model for fellow team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in restaurant kitchens, ideally with fine dining experience.

  • Strong planning and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to real-time changes.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items and endure long periods of standing.
  • Willingness to handle multiple responsibilities and a readiness to learn.
  • Adherence to company standards regarding appearance and dress.
