About the Role

The Administrative Assistant will play a vital part in our front office area, reporting to and assisting the Office Manager. This role is crucial in communicating effectively with patients, coworkers, and other team personnel, with the goal of fulfilling Suncrest Home Health & Hospice's mission in providing exceptional care and customer service to our patients, their families, and our referring sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including communication with patients, coworkers, and other team personnel.
  • Assist the Office Manager in maintaining a smooth and efficient front office operation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and our referring sources.
  • Monitor and self-correct own work processes and outcomes, as well as apply feedback from others to improve performance.
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibiting objectivity and openness to others' views, contributing to building a positive team spirit.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with great attention to detail and technological proficiency.
Requirements
  • A self-motivated team player with strong and effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, looking for ways to improve and promote quality.
  • High School Diploma required; completed 1-2 years of business college preferred.
  • Able to type 50 words per minute.
