Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician III

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician III to join our Facilities Team at Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining HVAC controls, pneumatic control systems, and performing electrical duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain HVAC controls and pneumatic control systems
  • Perform electrical duties as required, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
  • Assist with plumbing and other related duties as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of directly-related maintenance experience
  • Prior experience working with supply and exhaust fans, pumps, evaporative coolers, air filtration systems, and electrical blueprints
  • New Mexico license or reciprocal state EE-98J
  • Demonstrated skills in general maintenance and ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical maintenance problems
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn department-specific computer systems
Work Environment:

The work environment is varied, including office and laboratory settings, as well as outdoor areas. The successful candidate will be required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, crawl, climb, and perform desk-based computer tasks. Personal protective equipment may be required, including a respirator.
