EEO Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled EEO Investigator to join our team at the Office of Civil Rights. As an EEO Investigator, you will conduct administrative investigations regarding alleged violations of state and federal civil rights laws.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations, including interviewing parties and witnesses, collecting and reviewing relevant documents, and mediating claims.
- Prepare written reports summarizing and analyzing evidence collected during investigations.
- Develop and implement strategies to resolve disputes and promote compliance with civil rights laws.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including parties, witnesses, attorneys, and other team members.
- Minimum of four years of investigatory experience, preferably in law enforcement or a related field.
- Working knowledge of state and federal civil rights laws, including the Virginia Human Rights Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse and challenging caseload, work independently, and adjust priorities without close supervision.
- Experience in law enforcement investigations.
