Product Engineer Intern

A challenging opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product development at ABB.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage engineering changes in active products
  • Monitor product/assembly cost and develop projects for cost savings
  • Manage technical documents for production (3D, Schematics, BOM, Assembly Procedure)
  • Establish project specification for production
  • Convert R&D developments into products for market and ready them for mass production
  • Support production lines, involving problem-solving analysis and investigation with Quality/Process teams
  • Maintain assembly and packaging instructions
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in electrical engineering, within the United States
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress

The hourly rate for this position is determined by the successful applicant's qualifications, graduation year, and experience, and is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
