Achieve your career goals as a Product Development Engineer at ABB. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing engineering changes in active products, monitoring product/assembly cost, and managing technical documents for production. You will also establish project specifications for production, convert R&D developments into products for market, and ready these for mass production.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing engineering changes in active products
  • Monitoring product/assembly cost and developing projects for cost savings
  • Managing technical documents for production (3D, Schematics, BOM, Assembly Procedure)
  • Establishing project specification for production
  • Converting R&D developments into products for market and readying these for mass production
  • Supporting for production lines. Involving problem-solving analysis and investigating together with Quality/Process teams
  • Maintaining assembly and packaging instructions

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, reliable transportation to and from the worksite, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality. Collaboration with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress is also essential.
