Minimum Educational Requirements

High School Diploma/GED

Shift Information

Standard hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evening and weekend shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients both in-person and via phone, addressing inquiries with efficiency.
  • Confirm client information through interviews, reviewing medical histories, measuring vital signs, and clarifying the purpose of their visit.
  • Provide education on medication and dietary guidelines, respond to questions, and offer clear instructions.
  • Accurately maintain records of patient evaluations, treatments, and test outcomes.
  • Document billing information for services rendered, complete insurance documentation, and address related inquiries.
  • Communicate essential messages in writing to the healthcare team.
  • Organize laboratory reports, highlighting urgent findings and filing routine results in patient files.
  • Process medication refill requests according to established protocols, including obtaining necessary authorizations and coordinating with pharmacies.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and maintain operational integrity by securing sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; preference for Medical Assistant Certification.
  • Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence effectively.
  • Capability to understand policy and procedure manuals and other relevant documentation.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and willingness to transport clients when necessary.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse populations.
