Job Overview: Patient Service Representative at Spaulding Rehab

Position Summary:

  • Oversee the registration processes for outpatient services and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Ensure accurate collection of patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Guide patients through the facility and facilitate access to additional services as needed.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls and provide assistance to clients.
  • Monitor scheduling activities and proactively resolve any issues.
  • Conduct patient pre-registration, registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
  • Administer monthly patient satisfaction surveys to gather feedback.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is mandatory; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a medical or healthcare office environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is essential, with a preference for Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
