  • Position Summary

The IT Field Services Team plays a crucial role in managing all proprietary IT end-user hardware and the systems that support the configuration and maintenance of these devices.

The Operations division encompasses specialists who oversee, modify, support, and manage the daily operations essential for maintaining the existing IT systems within the organization. This division is dedicated to operational excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Gain insights into the business processes supported by assigned systems
  • Adhere to the organization's project management policies and methodologies
  • Deliver timely and precise updates on project statuses
  • Provide performance metrics related to operations and support tasks
  • Execute tasks under the guidance of senior team members
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges of varying complexity
  • Investigate and propose alternative solutions for problem resolution
  • Utilize productivity tools in all aspects of assignments
  • Design and analyze solutions for technology challenges based on user requirements, assisting in the development of detailed program specifications
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies
  • Comply with project management methodology standards as necessary
  • Engage in system and acceptance testing
  • Test and implement system components while ensuring system integrity
  • Respond promptly to production program issues
  • Contribute to fiscal management and cost estimation processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a technical field (or 2 years of relevant professional experience in an IT setting)
  • Willingness to learn from more experienced team members
  • Ability to understand core business processes and the technology that supports them
  • Capability to independently research and learn support functions such as help desk operations
  • Ability to comprehend run-books or other knowledge base resources related to systems and technologies
  • Basic understanding of support and operations practices, concepts, and technologies gained through formal training or work experience
  • Foundational knowledge of technical and business environments
  • Demonstrated aptitude for operations and logical reasoning
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with business customers and technology teams
  • Ability to conduct root-cause analysis, design solutions, perform testing, document processes, and implement small development projects or components of larger initiatives under guidance
  • Capacity to thrive in a customer service-oriented, team-focused environment

Our compensation structure includes a competitive base salary along with variable compensation opportunities, ensuring a rewarding work environment that aligns individual achievements with the organization's success.

The expected salary range for this position is $54,600 - $64,000, based on experience and qualifications, as well as market considerations.

  • Basic knowledge of data center operations and help desk protocols
  • Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity principles
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Standards
  • Experience in multiple areas of systems and computer operations
