About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
Job Summary
The Nursing Care Specialist will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and families in our medical surgical units.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign checks
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year of nursing experience
