Overview

Nashville CARES is seeking a highly skilled Research Director to manage all research activities related to the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Grant. This role is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and execution of the research project, ensuring compliance with PCORI guidelines and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, execution, and management of the PCORI-funded research project, ensuring alignment with the grant's goals, objectives, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with community partners, patient advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to ensure the research remains patient-centered and aligns with community needs.
  • Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of research data, ensuring that data collection methods meet rigorous scientific standards and adhere to PCORI guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all PCORI grant requirements, including reporting, budget management, and adherence to ethical standards in research.
  • Lead efforts to disseminate research findings through publications, presentations, and reports, working with the communication team to ensure findings are accessible to both academic and lay audiences.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Public Health, Epidemiology, or Health Services Research.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in health-related research, with a strong background in managing large, multi-site research projects.
  • Experience with PCORI grants is highly preferred.
