Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team in the court reporting industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing and directing sales teams, with expertise in the professional services sector.

About the Role
  • Lead the sales team in achieving revenue growth targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure staff competency and achievement of sales goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive account growth through collaborative efforts with the sales team.
  • Ensure that sales team members maintain disciplined pipeline health, quality, and quantity, and implement best practices to minimize pipeline variances.
  • Develop and foster a deep understanding of client needs and priorities among the sales team.
  • Closely work with the Vice President of Sales to analyze performance data and make forecasts to meet planned sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage sales team performance, develop individual sales plans, and hold team members accountable for achieving revenue growth targets.
  2. Hire, train, and develop next level performers on the sales team.
  3. Direct team members to identify new business opportunities and drive account growth.
  4. Track and analyze sales performance data to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Represent Planet Depos effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in the professional services industry.
  • Proven track record of success in managing and directing sales teams.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Experience selling or managing a team in the court reporting industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to represent the company effectively.
  • Dedication to providing best-in-class customer service.
