Job Title: Performance Optimization Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Optimization Engineer to join our team at Hendrick Motorsports. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our race cars through the application of advanced testing concepts and simulation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze track test data using Pi Cosworth software to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deploy tools to streamline the reporting of simulation and rig test data to the race teams.
  • Coordinate efforts with GM representatives for tool development and test execution.
  • Provide team recommendations summarizing the newest findings on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of simulation engineering principles and racing performance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
