Job Title: Member Experience Representative

At Resource One Credit Union, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Experience Representative to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and non-members, assisting with various administrative and financial transactions, and recommending products and services based on their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional and courteous service to members and non-members, addressing their issues, questions, and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cashiers' checks, money orders, and loan payments in person, by telephone, or mail.
  • Verify and balance transactions and cash totals on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of our products and services, offering recommendations to members and potential members to meet their financial needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including drive-up teller and night drop functions.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' cash handling experience.
  • Prior banking or credit union experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate a 10-key series.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a consistently changing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Stationary work, often requiring standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Visually recognize, reconcile, and verify numerical details for accuracy.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the facility with reasonable accommodations.
  • Lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items.
