Delinquent Account Recovery Specialist

OneMain Financial is seeking a skilled Delinquent Account Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring delinquent accounts daily, maintaining losses at or below established guidelines, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and monitor delinquent accounts daily to identify opportunities for recovery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of account activities
  • Initiate contact with customers to negotiate repayment plans and resolve delinquent accounts
  • Make recommendations to management regarding accounts that require additional attention
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues

Requirements:

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
