Assistant General Manager Job Description

HC-Resource is seeking a highly skilled and driven Assistant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our restaurant to excellence in customer service, food quality, and overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, select, and develop a high-performing team of store personnel who deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate inventory levels to minimize out-of-stocks and optimize inventory turns.
  • Training and Development: Provide industry-leading training to ensure staff are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by effectively communicating with staff and addressing any concerns.
  • Store Conditions: Maintain store conditions that meet or exceed company standards.
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial and accounting reports to control expenses and ensure compliance with company budget guidelines.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Ensure staff schedules are posted on time and manage daily operations to meet company expectations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service at all times and ensure staff do the same.

  • Ability to meet expectations in sales, costs, quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and safety.
