Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing manufacturing processes to drive efficiency and productivity.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and enhancing manufacturing processes related to product finishing, assembly, testing, packaging, and logistics
  • Collaborating with teams at all levels to challenge existing practices and drive meaningful improvements
  • Utilizing lean tools such as 5S, KPIs, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Pareto analysis to implement process enhancements
  • Planning and designing layouts for optimal space utilization, workflow, and workforce efficiency
  • Standardizing processes and implementing best practices along with performance metrics
  • Developing training materials for technical processes, including robotics and manual machine interfaces
  • Mentoring and training employees on new processes and lean methodologies

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of $100,000-$120,000 depending on experience, bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in lean engineering within a manufacturing environment; Black Belt certification in lean manufacturing is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills to aggregate, interpret, and present data effectively
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems and database management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly
