Manufacturing Specialist

About the Role:
As a Specialist Manufacturing Technician at Abbott Laboratories, you will play a critical role in the production of diagnostic assay components. Your primary responsibility will be to manufacture diagnostic assay components in areas such as Antigen Production, working with Potentially Biohazardous or Biohazardous material using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture diagnostic assay components in highly regulated specialized facilities using complex equipment and systems.
- Document manufacturing processes with a high degree of accuracy and completeness.
- Use Abbott manufacturing information systems (SAP) while performing manufacturing process steps.
- Maintain at least one manufacturing certification after completion of initial training.
- Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in a related field.
- Laboratory, verbal and written communication skills, basic scientific knowledge, basic mathematics, and basic computer skills.
