Are you an experienced sales expert with a keen interest in the seafood sector? CareerPaths NW is in search of a driven and results-oriented Territory Sales Executive to enhance our client's operations, a distinguished wholesale distributor and processor of both fresh and frozen seafood.

This role focuses on expanding business within the hospitality sector, providing a unique opportunity to utilize your seafood knowledge and sales skills to capture market share in the dynamic Los Angeles County area.

As a Territory Sales Executive, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at attracting and securing new clients in the hospitality industry, particularly restaurants, hotels, and similar venues.
  • Actively seeking new business opportunities by leveraging existing industry contacts and forging new relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conducting menu consultations and sales presentations to highlight the company's premium fresh and frozen seafood products, tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth order processing and outstanding customer service.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.
  • Utilizing CRM systems and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and provide accurate sales forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and menu consulting within the seafood industry.
  • A proven history of successfully prospecting and acquiring new clients in the restaurant and hospitality sectors.
  • A solid understanding of commercial kitchens and their seafood purchasing processes.
  • A proactive approach with a strong drive to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Established connections within the seafood industry and a proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for sales and a commitment to exceeding targets.
