Job Overview

Gastroenterology of the Rockies, a rapidly growing Gastroenterology practice in Boulder County and the greater Denver Metro area, seeks a skilled Medical Patient Scheduler to join our team. Our company operates eight office locations and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers, providing exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, including demographic, insurance, and medical history data.
  • Communicate with patients, doctors, and nurses to schedule appointments and procedures, ensuring seamless coordination and timely completion.
  • Handle pressure situations effectively, utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills to resolve problems and diffuse tensions.
  • Participate in staff meetings, contributing to the development of patient care improvements, department efficiency, and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years' experience as a patient scheduler preferred.
  • Excellent ability to handle pressure situations and maintain a high level of teamwork and dedication to patient satisfaction.
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Outlook and medical software (Intergy), are essential for success in this role.
Estimated Salary

$21.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location considerations.
