Call Center Team Lead

About the Role
The Patient Appointment Coordinator will be responsible for leading a team of patient schedulers and ensuring the efficient scheduling of patient appointments. This role requires strong leadership and team management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Team Leadership:
- Supervise a team of Remote Patient Schedulers II.
- Utilize scheduling software to efficiently manage patient appointments.
- Ensure accurate and timely scheduling of patient appointments based on physician availability and patient preferences.
- Queue Monitoring and Communication:
- Monitor the scheduling queue to ensure optimal patient flow.
- Address scheduling conflicts and challenges in real-time.
- Communicate effectively with patients to confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed.
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum two years' experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
- Hospital scheduling experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or medical office management coursework is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
