Patient Appointment Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Patient Appointment Coordinator to join our team at Medamorph LLC. This is a Full-Time position that comes with a competitive salary range of $24-$30.
This role reports directly to the Call Center Manager and is based in Louisville, CO.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in hospital scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Scheduling:
- Utilize scheduling software to efficiently manage patient appointments.
- Ensure accurate and timely scheduling of patient appointments based on physician availability and patient preferences.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of Remote Patient Schedulers II.
- Provide ongoing guidance, support, and training to team members.
- Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings with team members to assess performance and provide feedback.
- Queue Monitoring:
- Monitor the scheduling queue to ensure optimal patient flow.
- Address scheduling conflicts and challenges in real-time.
- Implement strategies to minimize appointment wait times.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth patient scheduling processes.
- Communicate effectively with patients to confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed.
- Monthly Metrics:
- Track and report on key performance metrics related to patient scheduling.
- Work towards meeting and exceeding monthly targets.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
- Hospital scheduling experience is also preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; some college or medical office management coursework is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare scheduling procedures is preferred.
