Overview of the Role
As a Corporate Controller at Atlantic Lift Systems Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Your duties will include managing corporate accounting, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and overseeing inventory management. Additionally, you will collaborate with procurement teams to place and track orders, ensuring timely replenishment of stock, and monitor and analyze expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Oversee the organization's inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, recording, and reconciliation of stock levels
- Analyze demand patterns, forecast future needs, and implement strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess inventory
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations and inventory management
- Collaborate with procurement teams to place and track orders, ensuring timely replenishment of stock

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and governmental accounting standards
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and financial acumen
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
