The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Transaction Processor to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

  • Process and reconcile accounts receivable and cash transactions.
  • Post customer payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly billing statements as needed.
  • Research and resolve customer inquiries regarding billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with credit/debit adjustments and tax exemption audits.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects assigned by the Controller.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • A Post-Secondary School degree or diploma with courses in accounting.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Detailed and organized with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative to improve processes.
