The Guest Services Representative warmly welcomes guests, manages check-ins and check-outs, issues room keys, addresses inquiries, and resolves guest requests in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to policies, procedures, brand standards, and regulations.
Facilitate guest check-ins and room assignments in accordance with the hotel's pricing structures, discounts, and upselling strategies. Accommodate special requests whenever feasible.
Handle check-in/check-out processes and manage payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing, and accounting policies and procedures.
Respond to inquiries regarding hotel amenities, in-house events, directions, local attractions, and more. Assist guests with check cashing, safety deposit boxes, additional room keys, transportation, and other needs.
When necessary, escort guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Pre-register, block reservations, and, as appropriate, take same-day and future reservations. Cancel room reservations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Ensure the confidentiality of any company, hotel, brand, and guest information in line with privacy policies, practices, and regulations.
Be punctual and present at work as scheduled, dressed in the appropriate uniform.
Participate in department meetings as scheduled.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in the hotel industry is required.
Familiarity with Opera software is an advantage.
