Position Overview:

Wells Fargo is on the lookout for a Forward Hire Associate Branch Manager (SAFE) within our National Branch Network, part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This role is pivotal as you will be at the forefront of a new initiative at Wells Fargo. As an Associate Branch Manager Forward Hire, you will ensure a consistent and positive experience for both customers and employees across various locations. During your tenure, you will gain extensive experience in leading and managing teams while supporting multiple branches within the district. As opportunities arise, you will transition into either an Associate Branch Manager or Branch Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adapt to evolving priorities and environments while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team to execute business strategies and drive growth.
  • Address operational challenges related to customer and employee experiences, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify ways to simplify banking for customers through education and showcasing digital solutions.
  • Lead the branch by fostering collaboration with stakeholders and partners to enhance customer experiences.
  • Assist customers with transactions and exemplify exceptional service while building lasting relationships.
  • Oversee the recruitment, evaluation, and development of branch staff.
  • Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations, as this role involves customer interaction and transaction processing.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years in banking, financial services, or related experience.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years in banking or financial services experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to manage tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in identifying customer needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
  • Proven track record of building effective relationships with customers and community partners.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to engage customers with technology and promote digital banking solutions.
Job Expectations:
  • This position may require travel between branches to provide leadership support.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include weekends.
  • Compliance with SAFE registration requirements upon employment.
