Key Responsibilities:
In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing and nurturing the relationship between employees and management, addressing employee issues, and ensuring adherence to labor regulations and company policies. The Employee Relations Manager acts as a bridge between leadership and staff, advocating for fair treatment and working towards effective conflict resolution.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Designing and executing strategies to promote positive employee relations and a constructive workplace culture. Timely and confidentially addressing employee concerns and disputes. Conducting thorough investigations into employee grievances, misconduct allegations, or policy breaches. Collaborating with Human Resources and departmental leaders to resolve employee matters and ensure equitable disciplinary processes. Leading initiatives that influence departmental and organizational goals. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and company policies regarding employee rights and responsibilities. Coaching and guiding leaders to effectively manage and resolve employee relations issues, including performance management and disciplinary actions. Identifying and proposing solutions for broader organizational policy and cultural challenges, employee concerns, and management trends. Overseeing employee entitlements, including medical leave, reasonable accommodations, and workers' compensation. Facilitating training sessions for managers and employees on Employee Relations policies and practices.Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of State and Federal employment laws, along with expertise in Employee Relations principles and best practices. Proven ability to work independently while managing a busy workload and multiple priorities. Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a team environment. Experience in managing various projects and analyzing data to provide insights for process improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and facilitate change. Experience in delivering presentations and training to large audiences. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Working Conditions:
This position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to monitor visual information and manage moderate noise levels. Work will be conducted in both home and office environments.
