Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Vice President of Public Relations to join our growing team. The successful candidate will lead the PR process and team, collaborating with agency partners to bring the brand to life through all touchpoints.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage PR strategy services, including budget forecasts and P&L management.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, working closely with senior leadership and generating agency-wide performance public relations best practices.
  • Lead client marketing and communications strategies, growing the agency through aggressive new business development and driving organic growth from existing clients.
  • Conduct training for team members outside of PR strategy, leading the agency in defining how to speak about public relations performance and ideation with clients.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow the internal PR team, establishing a scalable PR development and review process to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Proactively identify client needs and ensure timely and accurate communication, contributing to the development and execution of client service plans that meet and exceed client expectations.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of agency setting experience, with marketing communications experience and people management experience.
  • Ability to develop and manage budget forecasts, including P&L, and excellent account management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop effective marketing communication plans, strategies, and tactics, with a strong organizational and communication skills.
  • BA/BS degree in journalism, PR/communications, business, liberal arts, marketing, English, or related subject area, with an academic foundation in business, marketing, or communications.
