Job Description

AssuredPartners is seeking a skilled Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the strategic management of client employee benefit plans and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners and carriers.
  • Strategically manage assigned book in conjunction with Producer to understand client's business and assist in developing EB programs and initiatives that support the client's goals and objectives.
  • Deliver enrollment, benchmarking, financial and utilization data based on financial review standards and make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for adding other lines of coverage or services.
  • Educate clients concerning the regulatory environment and assist clients with compliance issues as necessary.
  • Act as project manager by clearly communicating and collaboratively guiding the account team to execute customer specific initiatives which deliver unique value through the execution of client specific business plans, service timelines, and corporate communications.
  • Coordinate and oversee the renewal process, including marketing activities, understanding underwriting and renewal development, and negotiating on behalf of client.
  • Ensure accuracy of all agency management system information for marketing, benchmarking and other purposes.
  • Update on-going activity in agency management system.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners and carriers.
  • Assist in workflow review and improvement initiatives; Provide training.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel is expected to be 25-50% in this role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree preferred; or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Life and health license.
  • Tech savvy; ability to learn multiple systems. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
