Citizens Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Trust Operations Specialist to fill a critical role in our organization. As a key point of contact for our client-facing teams, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our Trust, Agency, and Institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Process federal and state estimate and balance due tax payments with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and file probate accountings for regulatory compliance.
- Calculate and process Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds (UPMIFA) payments, maintaining the highest level of precision.
- Review and set up investment accounts on our internal accounting system, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Manage investment account closings, coordinating with internal teams to ensure a seamless process.
- Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Process incoming mail, including check logging and posting, and handle returned mail with efficiency.
- Independently research complex internal and external inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Ensure our unit's documented procedures are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration).
- At least 2 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on trust operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical skills.
- Excellent research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Experience providing operational support for trust/investment accounts for high net worth clients.
- Experience with the InnoTrust accounting platform.
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday work schedule.
