Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to actively identify, evaluate, and oversee climate-related risks that may impact the bank's operations, investments, and lending practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute strategies and tools for climate risk management, which encompass stress testing, risk disclosure, and portfolio optimization.
  • Establish and uphold comprehensive reporting protocols for climate-related risks and opportunities.
  • Perform thorough climate risk evaluations across the bank's portfolio, addressing both physical risks (such as extreme weather events and sea-level rise) and transition risks (including policy shifts and carbon pricing).
  • Employ climate risk modeling tools and scenario analysis to assess potential financial repercussions of climate change on the bank's assets, liabilities, and income.
  • Incorporate climate risk factors into existing risk management frameworks and business operations.
