Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Incident Manager to join our team at Barclays. As a key member of our Chief Security Office, you will be responsible for leading a proactive and intelligent defense against cybercrime and cyber-attacks.

Your primary focus will be on safeguarding our network and data, as well as ensuring external risks such as severe weather, geopolitical events, and widespread commercial outages are planned for to prevent impact to the business and customers.

You will serve as the Command, Control, and Coordination function for the Chief Security Office, working closely with teams across the bank to provide time-efficient communication and responses to incidents and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate incident response plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
  • Implement and execute security policies and procedures
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to update situational awareness databases
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to identify trends and patterns

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in incident management
  • Strong technical understanding of threats against the financial industry
  • Self-starter with ability to identify and implement solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
